Highland Park, NJ — MARY POMERANTZ ADVERTISING, a woman-owned advertising agency, won an Honorable Mention Creative Excellence Award in the “College Collateral Package” category for their work on a booklet and brochure for the Global Executive Master’s in Human Resource Leadership program at Rutgers University. Other winners in this category included Yahoo! and advertising giant Ogilvy.
Tom Severini, Creative Director of Mary Pomerantz Advertising, in response to being recognized in the company of such large competitors, wryly commented, “looks like we got beat by some companies called Yahoo! and Ogilvy. I will have to do some research on the web to see who they are.”
