HIGHLAND PARK, New Jersey – In addition to multiple locations in the United States, ALPHARMA needed to get the word out about their Employee Recognition Program to their employees at facilities in Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, and Mexico. After initially designing the posters in English, ALPHARMA employees from each location assisted in the translation of the text into their native languages. The design team at MPA then took this text and created different versions of the poster that were later shipped to each location.
Although many of their employees might have been able to understand the message in English, this extra step helped to convince all ALPHARMA’s employees that the company was genuinely interested in their participation – a key element of any Employee Recognition Program. And, by teaming up with Mary Pomerantz Advertising, ALPHARMA was able to ensure that each country’s version was designed and printed with the same consistent professional quality – and delivered in a timely manner.
